We are seeking a versatile Mechatronics Engineer to bridge the gap between mechanical design, electronics, and software control systems.

Position Summary
A Mechatronics Engineer in the construction industry designs and develops advanced, durable automated systems by integrating mechanical engineering, electrical sensors, and software controls. Beyond just designing functional machinery or IoT monitoring tools, you will be responsible for ruggedizing these solutions to withstand harsh, real-world site conditions, ensuring they meet rigorous safety standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring high-tech efficiency from the lab to the physical job site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement mechatronic systems, integrating mechanics, electronics, and control software.
  • Develop automated control systems and algorithms for construction machinery and tools.
  • Prototype, test, and refine electro-mechanical systems to ensure reliability and performance.
  • Collaborate closely with mechanical, electrical, and software engineering teams to ensure seamless integration.
  • Troubleshoot and debug integrated systems in both laboratory and field environments.
  • Maintain technical documentation for design specifications, schematics, and code.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in mechatronics, robotics, or electro-mechanical systems design.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks) and programming languages (e.g., C++, Python, MATLAB).
  • Strong understanding of control systems, sensors, and actuators.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional team.
Compensation and Benefits

  • Base Salary: $80,000 – $85,000 per year.
  • Incentives: Performance-based bonuses and commission options.
  • Benefits: Comprehensive package including health, dental, vision, and 401(k) plan.

Compensation: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
